Israel – Czech Chamber of Commerce is proud to inform you about the enormous success of its member, the Skoda Israel, a branch of Champion Motors. Since the year 1991, the importer has sold nearly 300 000 Skoda cars in Israel. Skoda Auto continues to maintain the 4th place in the brand ranking or the eighth year in a row. Also, Skoda strongly holds its position as the best selling European brand in Israel. Sales of Skoda vehicles raised even in a covid-problematic period. Last year, the importer of Skoda cars, the company Champion Motors, sold about 7 % more (19,460 vehicles) compared to the year 2020 in Israel. Champion Motors announces the good news about sales in spite of the crisis with a lack of semiconductors for car producers. The semiconductor’s crisis has had a major impact on the Israeli market in the first half of the year 2021.
No doubt that the company is leading to bigger success. The Champion Motors has entered the year 2022 with an award: the Importer of the Year. The award is the most prestigious and important among the entire brand’s distributors and it is connected with the sales category.
In the year 2021, the company Champion Motors launched the import of the revamped Kodiaq version. The Kodiaq continues to maintain its position as one of the SUV models sold in the Israeli market. In addition, Skoda Israel was the only country outside Europe that began marketing the brand’s first electric vehicle.
The Skoda ENYAQ from which hundreds of vehicles have already been ordered and the start of delivery is planned to start in March 2022. Later this year the Skoda Israel will launch the PHEV plug-in models of the brand in Octavia and Superb. And… of course, a new Skoda Fabia cannot be forgotten.
